Father took Father Judge & I went in the car to church & he got out & Father drove to Mrs. Frampton’s house & I said goodbye to father & he went away.
I walked to Mrs. Frampton’s house & found Mrs. Frampton in the hall. I talked to Mrs. Frampton all about everything & I showed my holiday book to her all about “Downside Abbey & Navy Week”.
She was very pleased & interested. Mrs. Frampton’s cousin came to see us for the picnic & Win came to the house.
Mrs. Frampton was very busy for the picnic.
We drove off to Weston & suddenly Donald dropped his cigarette inside the chair & I thought it was on fire & Win was very funny because she could not get out & Mrs. Frampton took out the picnic box

& saw the cigarette under the chair & he got it out at last. We drove out to Weston. We stopped at the Town Hall & we bought some cakes & cigarettes.
We drove off to the country & went to the Shiplett Firs & stopped at a rock.
We played with three balls but it was all wrong so we played with the one ball each. Mrs. Frampton, Donald, & Win, & I. We had a very good game of balls but Win lost all the time.
I showed Win my Holiday Book. I took my camera & I took photos of Mrs. Frampton, Win, & Donald. We all took photos of each other. Donald asked Mrs. Frampton to climb the rocks & I went up. Mrs. Frampton & I went on the
middle of the rock & Donald up on the top. We saw the sea at Weston & saw Win tidy the picnic box. We climbed down the rock & we waited for Donald to come & soon after he came.
We played ball again & Mrs. Frampton & Win lay on the ground because it was too hot & Donald played with the ball.
We rested again on the ground. Mrs. Frampton & I were talking & Donald & Win were talking in another place.
We went back to the car & Mrs. Frampton drove off to Weston from rock.
We forget to fetch my hat at Mrs. Frampton’s house & we went home early because Mr. & Mrs. Frampton went to Bristol to play tennis.
We had a lovely picnic holiday & I enjoyed it very much.
